Westside Community Schools Bullying Awareness Week September 24-28
The week of September 24-28 was Bullying Awareness Week for Westside Community Schools. Schools used the week as an opportunity to educate students and staff, and to highlight anti-bullying and anti-cyber-bullying efforts in their buildings.

At Swanson, students participated in Mix-it-Up Extreme Days during Anti-bullying Awareness Week. Students ate lunch and played at recess with their buddies, along with participating in a buddy activity.

Loveland Elementary sponsored “stomping out bullying” where students signed a pledge on footprints they created. Each grade level was represented by a specific color and every grade participated.

At Westside Middle School, students wore pink to indicate their opposition to cyber-bullying.
