Westside Community Center

Valley View Middle School was opened in September 1964 and produced many classes of Valley View Raiders. When Westside consolidated middle schools in 1987, the Westside Community Center was opened and has since hosted hundreds of meetings and special events. The Community Center was repurposed in 2015 as a swing School for WCS students while new elementary schools were under construction.  Oakdale, Swanson and Prairie Lane students all enjoyed the swing school. Now, in-between projects, we are able to re-open the community center and look forward to serving groups from all over the Omaha area.

In the fall of 2026, Loveland Elementary will utilize the Community Center as it's Swing School while the new Loveland school is built. 

The Westside High School - West Campus is located on the lower level of the Community Center.
