Below are a couple "Tech Tips" from the WMS Technology Specialist.
1. Keep your computer protected from the snow, rain, and other liquids. Liquids can cause expensive damage if they get on and/or in a computer.
2. Do not leave your computer in a vehicle or any place where it might be exposed to extreme temperatures for more than an hour. If you must leave it in a vehicle for a short time then keep it out of sight to help prevent theft. Locking it in the trunk is best.
3. To help prevent theft, keep your computer out of sight when you have visitors in your home.
4. Before turning on your computer, allow it to reach room temperature (between 50 and 95 Fahrenheit). Powering on the computer while the ambient temperature is outside of this range can cause damage to the computer.
