Hope Squad Celebrates 'World Kindness Day'

HOPE Squad is a school-based peer-to-peer suicide prevention program that trains students to perform intentional outreach with fellow students. The program was created in Utah in 2004 and has since been implemented in more than 1,600 schools across the nation. 

Suicide is the second-leading cause of death in Nebraskans ages 10-24.
