Stevens Named Outstanding Principal

Congratulations to Westbrook Elementary’s Brian Stevens! He was recently named a Lozier Lights Outstanding Principal.

The award is given by the Lozier Foundation and the Metropolitan Omaha Education Consortium (MOEC) to recognize outstanding elementary school principals for their leadership and impact on students. The award, which stands for “Leaders Igniting Growth and Helping Transform Schools,” also includes a grant for the winner’s school.

As part of the award, the Lozier Foundation will donate $25,000 to Westbrook.

The awards ceremony will be Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Kiewit Luminarium.

Westbrook students are celebrating Principal Stevens’ award this week with daily themes that focus on education.
