October 16, 2020 | COVID-19 Update for Paddock Road Families

The following message was sent to all Paddock Road families and staff on October 16, 2020

Good afternoon,

We have been notified that one staff member at Paddock Road has tested positive for COVID-19. As with any positive case in the district, anyone who would have had close contact with a positive case has been notified separately by phone.

Accounting for positive cases reported to the district since school began August 18, our cumulative case counts are as follows:

  • 18 student cases, which is 0.29% of all Westside Community Schools and Westside Foundation/ECC students
  • 22 staff cases, which is 2.0% of all Westside Community Schools and Westside Foundation/ECC/Club 66 employees

Based on contact tracing and Douglas County guidelines, the vast majority of the positive cases reported in our district are believed to have been contracted outside of school. If you would like more, we encourage you to visit the COVID-19 section of our website at www.westside66.org.

Thank you for your ongoing engagement and support to keep our school district running as safely as possible.
