More than 20 Westside Community Schools students interested in the teaching profession received an up-close and personal look at the job.
Principals Quinn McGuire (Paddock Road), Michelle Patterson (Sunset Hills) and Glen Jagles (Oakdale) provided tours of their schools and shared the challenges and rewards of teaching.
The Westside students are participating in the WCS Educators Rising Program, a part of the Grow Your Own initiative, a curriculum designed for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching.
