Posted December 7, 2020
Congratulations to Westside High School student Andrew Li, named a 2021 National Young Arts Merit Winner in Jazz Alto Saxophone!
Young Arts' winners are the nation's most accomplished young artists in the visual, literary, design and performing arts. Young Arts winners gain access to one of the most comprehensive programs for emerging artists in the United States, offering financial, professional and artistic development opportunities. This year, Young Arts award winners at all levels receive cash prizes between $100 and $10,000.
This is the latest in a series of prestigious honors for Andrew, including earning a perfect 36 on his ACT, being named as a National Merit Semi-Finalist, being named a finalist in the International Video Breakthrough Challenge, and being voted Homecoming King by his peers this fall.
Congratulations, Andrew! We are very proud of you!
