September 27, 2022 | Job Fair Connects Students With Career Opportuntities

WHS West Campus hosted a Career Fair for students on September 22. This terrific event allowed our students to learn more about potential job opportunities in the metro area, while also providing our local businesses the opportunity to recruit and hire new employees.

One of those businesses, QLI Omaha, sent the following:

"I also want to share with you that I was so impressed with so many of the students that I was able to meet. They were each able to effectively engage with great eye contact, appropriate sharing of information, and most of them came up with many more questions of their own. I was even asked questions I had not heard yet, so I was able to really learn something from them as well. I look forward to more of these sessions!"

Westside High staff also organized a Career Cafe with Bakers, and are planning an additional Career Fair for Westside High School on October 20.
