** UPDATE: CHANGE OF VENUE FOR BOARD MEETINGS ** For the past 6 months - due to Phase II Bond work at the ABC Building - Board of Education Meetings have been held at Westside High School (8701 Pacific St.). Our board meeting on December 9th will be our final board meeting at the high school. We are excited to share that the Phase II Bond Work is nearly complete, and we will be back at the ABC Building for Board of Education Meetings beginning in January 2025!

2024 Phillip & Terri Schrager Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award Winners Announced
Each year, the Phillip and Terri Schrager Foundation honors two deserving Westside Community Schools educators leading the way in innovation in the classroom. On May 24, Terri Schrager presented the 2024 Schrager Distinguished Teaching Awards to two WCS educators: Julie Carruthers, kindergarten teacher at Oakdale Elementary, and Faren Huben, 8th grade mathematics teacher at Westside Middle School.
