Posted December 7, 2020

Get ready to have a fun-filled week of interactive lessons, exploration, and critical thinking!  Instead of having an in-person "Hour of Code" night here at Oakdale, we are making it an "Hour of Code" week for you and your family.  There are several options to choose from to best fit the needs of your family. We hope you enjoy diving into the world of coding!

Options: Choose as many as you would like.

1. Take a look at this brand new series of easy to do interactive lessons that will be streaming twice a day during our "Hour of Code" week of December 7th-11th:  CodeBytes.  Check out the planned activities and add them to your calendar so you don't forget!

2. Explore all that has to offer!  Find a tutorial that works with your family!  There are so many to choose from that range through all grade levels!  Have fun learning to code with these fun activities!

3. Want to unplug but still learn coding?  Check out this printable Hour of Code Unplugged Activity Packet ranging from ages 4 to 18 years old.  There is something for all ages!

We hope you have fun exploring the world of coding during our week long "Hour of Code" family event!
