  • cynthia bailey Hello, and welcome to Hillside. Our school is a special place, and we invite you to join Hillside’s staff in the rewarding experience of educating your student(s). We are a community of teachers and learners, and everyone is committed to making each day the best it can be.

    Our mission is to find effective and powerful ways to meet the needs of all learners. The staff at Hillside works in concert to create learning opportunities in all areas of study, including academics, technology use, the arts, and social-emotional learning. The student body is a diverse population of approximately 400 students, and we believe this diversity creates opportunities for our school community to embrace differences.

    Every member of our faculty is committed to the pursuit of excellence. After spending 16 years teaching in elementary classrooms, and now in my 10th year as an administrator, I am excited to lead Hillside into what promises to be a unique and challenging school year.
