Teachers will be prepared to hand out information about their course that includes information about what will be learned in class. If you would like to set up a private conference to visit with teachers in more depth, please set up a time during Open House to do so.

School pictures will be taken on August 15 for returning WHS students in grades 10-12. Freshmen and new students will have their school picture taken on August 16. More information can be found HERE.

    • Log into PowerSchool on your computer.
    • On the left side look for the Returning Student Registration icon.
    • This is a spot to update demographic information, sign up for the technology cooperative loss program, communication information, and more.
    • Please update so we can best communicate with you and support your child.
    • We will not check out technology to students unless this information is completed.

Westside has launched a new Westside Warriors Sports App to provide all of our students, families, staff and community members with easy access to game schedules, updates, scores and more! CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD FOR FREE (link works when using a mobile device) or search Westside Warriors wherever you get your apps. Right now, only our Spring Sports are listed but we intend to add additional sports and activities in the coming months!

Every school year, we need to have updated health information for all students. This can be done through PowerSchool. Additionally, we will need an Action Plan for your student if they have been diagnosed with asthma, a life-threatening allergy, diabetes, seizures, or other chronic illnesses. Please take a moment to review the letter from our WHS Nurse HERE for more information. Additionally, Westside High School needs permission to administer medication to your child. If your child has medication that you would like to authorize the school nurse to administer, please complete the Medication Authorization Form and return it to the WHS Health Office.

Please remember to put money in your child's My Lunch Bucks account so they can purchase their lunch. Additionally, starting this school year, there will be a new procedure in place during the lunch mods as well as passing periods. First, students who go to lunch in the cafeteria will need to stay in the cafeteria for the entire 40 minutes. Second, when students have open mods, they will need to select a location to study and stay there for the remainder of the mod. By putting these procedures in place, we can ensure that students have adequate time to eat and we can also limit disruptions to classrooms still receiving instruction by not having as much foot traffic in the hallways.
